Cool, this episode confirmed several theories and gave rise to several more.

what a lovely episode full of fun and emotional stuff also one of the rare no dueling whatsoever
putting into perspective of why there are no aliens in Sevens (apart for the Ko girls) does imply Phaser won but guess we will see, the question is hw will Yuuhi Yuamau and Yuga return to past.
I do miss the Sevens cast and hope we will get closure someday - where Gx (kind of) and Arc V never did Zexal technically but that main story was finished and they just went onto a new one

But come on you couldn't give me one Tiger headlocking her brother even if brief grrrr

Interesting episode. Didn't live up to my certain expectations like we didn't get to see who is in that rocket so that was a bait and the only character that actually interacted with Yuga and the others was freakin SCHROEDINGER. Not to mention the ''OTES'' part that is so random that you can't even be sure If It is a foreshadowing or a dumb joke that just tries to hype people up with theories that won't end up being true.

But on the positive side the emotional bits were spot on. I liked seeing Yuga deciding to return to Go rush time even If he might NEVER return again and saying goodbye to Luke, Romin and Gakuto it was good. And the bits with Yuuhi and Yuamu where they see UTS completely gone and not wanting to believe it was nice as well (Yuamu even cried in this episode which is honestly one of the best character moments for her to this point). And they even raised the possibility that Phaser might have won in the past of Sevens which is a cool but also dreaded possibility to think about. Heck who knows perhaps MIK TURNED into Goha since they currently own it in Go rush.

As for the timeline, I assume it is simply ''Multiple timelines'' as in Sevens' past is Go rush but WITHOUT Yuga coming there and Yuga coming there simply created another future for the current Go rush timeline that we didn't see. So nothing Yuga does in the past can change Sevens because Sevens' past remains unchanged and does not have him meanwhile the current Go rush timeline that does have him has become another timeline with a brand new future different than Sevens. Funny enough Yuga might not even born in the current future of Go rush despite being there LOL

So Yuga created Otes?

Fayt Leingod • 11 months ago

hes also otes no wonder both him and yuuga has the same dream add the fact how otes know's how to uninstall the rush duel program and also explains why he gave the sevens magician to him

IkkyuSan69 • 11 months ago

it still quite sure that Otes is adult Yuga or [future - kaizo] in OTES Suit.

Of all the characters to interact with the cats, I wasn't expecting Schroedinger. Although I guess I should've in hindsight. The main cast meeting Yuuga in cat form and knowing he was Yuuga would've definitely caused some continuity errors with the final episode of Sevens. But now Luke, who was already stupid outside of dueling, is going to think all cats eat udon.

Monokuma • 11 months ago

Dang that hit right in the feels. From all the nostalgic characters through all the emotions, a very well written episode that despite solidifying the present-past connection between the series leaves it also vague. There's a hint here and there but nothing concrete enough. The Luce connection was brosome. The fact that the only character outside of that who interacted with them was Schroedinger is beautiful theming. Like, with the thought experiment where the cat is neither dead or alive until we open the box, here we don't know how the past and future shapes until we draw our opening hand (in one of the upcoming episodes). I thoroughly enjoyed sevens for all its shenanigans and I love this series even more for introducing some more serious elements. Can't wait what the future past holds for
future future's future past's past Yuga. And co.

Geez, that Otes origin, creating an alternate personality/futuristic AI just to conquer your fear of ladybug. I see this show is as silly as ever.

That aside, has anyone figured the meaning of Yuudias' various chants? Like that "War to Zen, blah blah blah goodnight"? It felt so random, but then this is YGO so it might mean something.

Fayt Leingod • 11 months ago

i think its base on a book title "art of war"

Josh Kala • 11 months ago

Geez this episode is something else especially for Yuga :(

Hoshimiya Eiji • 11 months ago

Man they hate Nail SO FREAKIN MUCH that they literally entered his area and he still didn't even show up and It is the freakin CAT GUY that did all the info gathering stuff. Even If we assume only he can speak cat or something at least make Nail show up man. It is freakin COMICAL that Schroedinger is literally the only character that got the knowledge that Yuga has been in the past for the last 2 years, returned as a cat and will leave again. Like IMAGINE Yuga never managing to return and Luke and the rest dying without ever knowing what happened to him and that he returned for a short while and was right there beside Luke as a cat while freakin Schroedinger knows it all. I admit it is SO FUNNY because of how stupid it is but also beyond frustrating and annoying especially with how easily they could have added Nail but as usual Nail (and his ancestor) can't get anything.

ever consider that his VA was not available???

This reminds me of when Sasuke returned to Konhoa during the fourth great ninja war and nobody was at the village to meet him.
but i guess that the Ohdos didnt want to interact with too many people as we saw that Yuga didnt reveal himself to Luke.

My favourite episode. So many feels!

... Oh my god this whole mini-arc was just one long schrodinger's cat joke... AGAIN

Daemon Redfox • 10 months ago

it was curiously, a very nice episode, but i still have a lot of doubts
still like how they try to connect the past and future

So they met that guy of schordinger, and the episode ends with the "we still dont know if yuuga is there falling"

so in the end, yuuga is and is not falling in the end of sevens XD

the cat of schrodinger........IS THAT WHY THEY ARE ALL CATS?!

I wonder if this show is based on hulks endgame movie. If you travel back into your own past, that destination becomes your future, and your former present becomes the past, which can’t now be changed by your new future.”

So what does anyone think about the exact time relation with Go rush and Sevens ? What I mean is that do you think that Go rush with Yuga, Yudias and all of the things we watch and see in this show happened in the Sevens' past and then Rush duels somehow turned into Goha duels and such ? Or Do you believe while Go rush is Sevens' past it was WITHOUT Yuga and Yuga coming there created an alternate timeline so the current Go rush will have a different future than Sevens and Sevens' past does not have Yuga.

The show did bring up the possibility of Rush duels becoming Goha duels though I am not sure. It might be but when I see everything in Go rush such as: Yuna and Asaka being close friends despite Goha and Mutsuba being enemies, Asaka's company being the one to make all the cards (thus should have so much control over duels to lose all that control to Goha), The duels literally being called RUSH duels (you would think that at least in the dueling history the name would be there), the duel disks in go rush being as modern as the ones in Sevens despite in Sevens we learned Asana's family made the vehicle style duel disks and such that will get old and stop getting support (If the duel disks in Go rush is already modern no need for Asana's style of duel disks) AND with the implication that UTS is not there in Sevens I think It makes more sense that Sevens' past is without Yuga and Yuga going to the past simply separated current Go rush from the past of sevens and made it another timeline that will have a different future from Sevens.

It just doesn't seem likely to me that the Go rush we watch can turn into Sevens as there is a bit too much things that are hard to justify. It IS possible and heck perhaps Phaser is a reason why Sevens ended up the way it is If we assume Phaser won in Sevens' current past until Yuga, Yuhi and Yuamu return and change it (though that also means Sevens' will be altered) but dunno I think it just makes more sense to me If Sevens' past is the NORMAL past without Yuga from the future coming there and affect the people of Go rush with his actions and him coming there made the current Go rush a new timeline

I gotta say that this episode was pure cringe and it was hard to get through.

It's one of the very few serious episodes of SEVENS (and Go Rush too) and yet it was too serious for such a very silly and ridiculous show, and even then it was also too silly for concepts that should have been more serious. It was completely out of the place.

That OTES explanation was so ridiculous and I almost cannot believe that they made one of the very few serious concepts left in the show into a joke.

That whole Yuga and Luke conversation was a big ooof, I was cringing the whole time, did they really want to make it that emotional when they made a joke about OTES just minutes earlier? Weird.

All in all, the show didn't change at all, silly, random, out of the place, cringe and just lame.
